Meet The ABM Executive Team

Louisa Lewandowski, Owner and CEO

Louisa Lewandowski was born and raised in Louisville, KY. She has her BS in Business Administration from the College of Charleston in South Carolina. She worked in the mortgage industry for many years and owned a mortgage company for ten years. Louisa transitioned to the Commercial Real Estate industry where she spent the last 10 years as a Senior Associate. Her experience with commercial development in the region makes her a great fit as the CEO of American Bluegrass Marble. Louisa enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing tennis and traveling.

Kim Rietze Heinzen, Owner and COO

Kim Heinzen is a Louisville native with a strong background in sales and marketing. She graduated from Clemson University with a BS in marketing. Her areas of expertise are in marketing strategy, new business development, and relationship and account management. She is also skilled at developing process improvements that improve operations and drive business. She is a collaborative team member with strong problem-solving skills. Kim’s strong skill set and natural people skills makes her a great addition to the American Bluegrass marble management team. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking and relaxing in the mountains of NC, and taking her dogs to the park.

Denny Payne, General Manager

With over 30 years of experience managing production, Denny brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the role of General Manager. Certified in CCT-CP, he specializes in all aspects of the manufacturing process, ensuring that the highest quality products are delivered to customers consistently. Committed to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction, Denny

strives to uphold a culture centered around teamwork and professional workmanship. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, golfing, and fishing. Denny values balancing his profession, family time, and personal interests.

Michael Franklin, Sales Manager

With almost 40 years experience, Mike serves as the plant supervisor for American Bluegrass Marble and is accredited with CCT-CP. Mike specializes in ensuring that the production process runs smoothly and efficiently. He is a skilled composite technician who specializes in new product development. Born and raised in Louisville, Mike is most comfortable meeting and greeting people. He is an avid lover of music and Kentucky bourbon. He is happiest spending time with his wife Melanie and their 3 dogs.
In his spare time he enjoys hunting, fishing and playing the guitar.

With almost 40 years experience, Mike serves as the plant supervisor for American Bluegrass Marble and is accredited with CCT-CP. Mike specializes in ensuring that the production process runs smoothly and efficiently. He is a skilled composite technician who specializes in new product development. Born and raised in Louisville, Mike is most comfortable meeting and greeting people. He is an avid lover of music and Kentucky bourbon. He is happiest spending time with his wife Melanie and their 3 dogs.
